Day 14 - 40 Days For Life

Then When Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.
Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furloughs off:
And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
John 11: 17-22

The widow of Nain about to bury her son and along comes Jesus who has compassion on her.
This woman has lost her husband and now she is burying her only son. She has lost all support.
Then Jesus gives life to the son and delivers him back to his mother.
Prayer is like giving birth to the promises of God. We often describe something we want to see take place as birthing it in prayer. To some this day it may seem like our prayers for the unborn have had no effect. Some may feel defeated and hopeless. Our God will not leave us hopeless. Our prayers have not fallen to the ground but have been heard by the very ears of God. God and God alone is able to give life to that which has died or appears to have died.
Keep pressing on in prayer and intercession for the unborn. Have faith in God. Do not be discouraged:
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5
And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. and he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
Luke 7:11-15
