We need to be aware of who the enemy is and to be prepared for spiritual warfare.
We need to do battle against the rulers of spiritual darkness in this world.

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto y0u, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:5-10

We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. But those who are in darkness do not see that they are sinners. The enemy keeps them covered in darkness and prevents them from walking in the light of Jesus Our Lord and Savior. For as we draw near to Jesus we begin to recognize our sinful nature. We see sin as sin and become sorrowful and repent. The word of God tells us that God is faithful to forgive us our sins when we confess and repent. Pray not just for others but also for ourselves that we would all draw near to Jesus and that in His Light we will know the truth and the truth shall set us free. That we will see sin as sin, we will confess, repent and receive the forgiveness in Christ Jesus.
Remember that we are to stand on the word of God and not our own opinion or judgment. God's word is truth. Jesus himself when being tested stood on the Word of God. God's word will not come back void. In all we do we are to do it as unto Jesus. Jesus said when you care for the least of these you have cared for me. Do everything in love, mercy and compassion. Do not be weary in well doing and know that with God all things are possible.

Day 3 - 40 Days for Life

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of
sores,
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried:
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Throughout the Word of God it is written that God sees our hearts and our motives. Jesus said that when we do for the least - we do for Him and also warns that whatever we do not do for the least - we do not do for Him. We are not to ignore abortion and it's victims. We are to stand up and speak up for those in the womb, the man and woman who are to be the child's parents and also those who are now suffering because they had made the choice to have an abortion. All of them need our compassion and mercy. All of them need us to seek the Lord on their behalf. All of them need us influence our community and government to prevent abortion. Let us pray for them and ask the Lord how He would use us to implement a change in the hearts and minds of people concerning abortion.

Day Two -Praying for the healing of those who have participated in abortions.

Beginning the day by asking the Lord to search my heart and reveal any sin that is in there.

Against thee, thee only, have i sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

God Created Life-Evil destroys Life

In the beginning God created man. He created us in His own image. Scripture tells us that He formed us in the womb. God chose to conceive His only son Jesus in the womb of the woman Mary. God certainly considers us alive at conception.

And God said, Let us make man in or image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

God is our creator and how are we to say to Him that one of His creations are not worthy of life?

Throughout scripture those who are evil has sought to kill children. Pharaoh sought to kill the deliver of the Hebrew Children The midwives feared God more than they feared Pharaoh. Pharaoh then ordered the death of the male children who were "born alive"
In Jeremiah children were being sacrificed to Molech.
Herod wanting to kill the Messiah killed children two years and under.
Those who are evil seek to kill children.

And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

We are to stand in the gap for the unborn and be voices for them who cannot speak for themselves. We also need to stand in the gap and extend grace, mercy, love and compassion to women and men who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. We are to love and extend mercy, grace and compassion to the women and men who are suffering because they chose to have an abortion. God see us and He sees our hearts, we are and will be accountable before Him
Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to die;
save them as they stagger to their death.
Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.”
For God understands all hearts, and he sees you.
He who guards your soul knows you knew.
He will repay all people as their actions deserve.

Sent out my oppose FOCA letters last night. Please continue to pray for the Lord to open doors for a Crises Pregnancy Center in our community. We will be participating in the Community Prayer on Friday evening and prayer concerning abortion will be included. Representative Mike Pence (R-IN) has recently introduced a bill called the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act (HR 614). This bill is a very important step toward our fight to Stop the Abortion Bailout since it would legally prevent your tax dollars from funding groups that perform abortions, groups like Planned Parenthood.

What is the Practical Impact of FOCA?

In elevating abortion to a fundamental right, FOCA poses an undeniable and irreparable danger to common-sense laws supported by a majority of Americans. Among the more than 550 federal and state laws that FOCA would nullify are:

• Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003

• Hyde Amendment (restricting taxpayer funding of abortions)

• Restrictions on abortions performed at military hospitals

• Restrictions on insurance coverage for abortion for federal employees

• Informed consent laws

• Waiting periods

• Parental consent and notification laws

• Health and safety regulations for abortion clinics

• Requirements that licensed physicians perform abortions

• “Delayed enforcement” laws (banning abortion when Roe v. Wade is overturned and/or the authority to restrict abortion is returned to the states)

• Bans on partial-birth abortion

• Bans on abortion after viability. FOCA’s apparent attempt to limit post-viability abortions is illusory. Under FOCA, post-viability abortions are expressly permitted to protect the woman’s “health.” Within the context of abortion, “health” has been interpreted so broadly that FOCA would not actually proscribe any abortion before or after viability.

• Limits on public funding for elective abortions (thus, making American taxpayers fund a procedure that many find morally objectionable)

• Limits on the use of public facilities (such has public hospitals and medical schools at state universities) for abortions

• State and federal legal protections for individual healthcare providers who decline to participate in abortions

• Legal protections for Catholic and other religiously-affiliated hospitals who, while providing care to millions of poor and uninsured Americans, refuse to allow abortions within their facilities

Notably, pro-abortion groups do not deny FOCA’s draconian impact. For example, Planned Parenthood has explained, "FOCA will supercede anti-choice laws that restrict the right to choose, including laws that prohibit the public funding of abortions for poor women or counseling and referrals for abortions. Additionally, FOCA will prohibit onerous restrictions on a woman's right to choose, such as mandated delays and targeted and medically unnecessary regulations."

Dear Ms. Kelly-Pospisil,

Thank you for expressing you views on the Freedom of Choice Act. It is important for me to have the benefit of your views, and I appreciate you taking the time to contact me.

I recognize the deep feelings that accompany views on both sides of the abortion debate. As a practicing Catholic, a husband, and a father, I have spent years thinking about the issue and respect the diverse opinions Americans hold on this issue.

As the Congressional representative for Eastern Long Island, I strongly believe that women in America must have the legal right to choose an abortion, with the advice of their doctors and trusted confidantes. Legislating the outcome of this decision would be an undue intrusion on the rights of women, as well as the confidential relationship between doctor and patient. Furthermore, outlawing the operation will not end the practice of abortion in America, but rather force it underground and expose women to unacceptable health risks.

I share your concerns about late-term abortions, and have said that I would support a ban on late-term abortions if it includes an exception that encompasses the life and the health of the mother. Public laws should not attempt to overrule a doctor's professional judgment on crucial medical decisions regarding a patient's health.

I must balance a broad range of opinions when considering legislation that will affect the lives of millions across America. In the 110th Congress, the Freedom of Choice Act was considered in the House Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties. Please be assured that I will keep your views in mind should this legislation be considered by the full House of Representatives in the 111th Congress.
